I’ve spent my entire career inside the Capitol. Now, as an independent lobbyist and policy expert, I bring that experience to your side of the table.
I didn’t plan on becoming a lobbyist or a strategic advisor. What I planned on was helping people and that drive is what pulled me into public service long before I even graduated college.
I got my start helping protect domestic violence shelters across California at a time when funding was being cut. I worked on legislation to support women who had survived abuse and were still sitting in prison for defending themselves. That work shaped my “why” early on: use the system to support people who don’t have the power, access, or information to navigate it themselves.
Over the next several years, I followed that purpose moving through the Capitol as a Legislative Director, Senior Consultant in the Speaker’s Office, and eventually, Chief of Staff to Assemblymember Evan Low.
I oversaw thousands of bills, led high-pressure negotiations, managed large teams, and built relationships with the people who actually move policy: the committee staff, caucus members, agency leads, and the behind-the-scenes decision-makers. Those connections aren’t transactional. They’re a result of years of trust and collaboration.
I live in Sacramento with my partner and our kids (two already off at college). I’m a proud member of the Yurok Tribe, a founding board member of the Foundation for California’s Technology and Innovation Economy, and someone who mentors the next generation of Capitol staffers.
I’m a seasoned pro with insider knowledge you only get from on-the-job experience.
No surface-level connections, just a roster of people who actually respond to my calls and texts.
No inflated teams or gatekeepers. You get direct access to me.
I don’t overpromise. I’ll tell you what’s possible and how to get there.
I’ve worked across a range of industries in my career, including some of the key areas that matter most in California:
And how to get your issue in front of the right people. Ready to work together to move your issue forward?
